USjournal.com to Cap its Number of Advertisers at 100

The maximum number of advertisers USjournal.com will feature is 100. For the most recent list of advertisers, please see http://www.USjournal.com/en/students/help/map.php#sponsor

"We've been considering a ceiling for several months, and arrived at a firm decision last week in Minneapolis," noted C.I.E.O. Cheryl Darrup-Boychuck, referring to the 2007 NAFSA Conference. "Our decision reflects the undeniable fact that international student recruiters are interested in quality far more than quantity."

The decision has invigorated the small company, as it clarifies the goal of retaining current advertisers by providing them with top-notch service:

  • Prospective student inquiries are not diluted among thousands of U.S. education options
  • It allows our advertisers to concentrate on the qualified inquiries we generate for them
  • Eliminating the pressure to sell more allows us to pursue innovative approaches in earnest
  • We'll also have more time to brainstorm with current advertisers to constantly improve our services

Enhanced Translation Services
  • We can re-format multi-lingual advertisers' translations in pdf, html or doc format, with our compliments
  • Advertisers without multi-lingual campaigns may request translation-only services for a modest fee
  • We've resolved the non-Western character display issue within our monthly or quarterly Excel Reports
NAFSA Conference Follow-Up

Thanks to all of our current and prospective advertisers who met with us in Minneapolis; we always feel like we learn much more than we teach.
