- About Pace University
The English Language Institute (ELI) at Pace University offers students, visitors, and immigrants the opportunity to improve their English skills for academic study, career advancement, or personal enrichment through a variety of intensive programs. The ELI instructors are experienced, dedicated to their students, and have master's degrees. As an ELI student at Pace, you will have access to all University facilities, including libraries, computer labs, cafeterias, sports centers, medical and counseling services, and the International Students Office.
Two convenient locations provide you with a choice. The New York City campus, which is located in the heart of lower Manhattan (near Chinatown, Little Italy, and Wall Street), gives students the opportunity to explore the city with ease. The Westchester campus is located 40 minutes from the city; you can enjoy modern recreational facilities, including a swimming pool and fitness center, on a quiet campus and still be close to New York City. On both campuses, you will have the chance to participate in many cultural and social activities organized by the ELI for additional real-life opportunities to use English skills actively.
