Orange Coast College (OCC), a part of the Coast Community College District, is located in Costa Mesa just minutes from Southern California's beautiful beaches, is one of the United States' largest and finest community colleges. Enrolling more than 24,000 students each semester, the OCC campus features exceptional facilities and the latest in computer and high-tech equipment. Orange Coast College offers more than 130 academic and career programs that lead to the attainment of Associate of Arts degrees, Associate of Science degrees, career certificates, as well as transfer requirements to a four-year university.
Orange Coast College is one of the state's leading community colleges in the number of students it transfers to the University of California and California State University systems. Many other Orange Coast students also go on to transfer to private colleges and universities within California and across the country.

The application deadline for students who apply from outside of the United States is at least two months prior to the start of the semester in which they plan to attend. For international students who are currently in the U.S. and are planning to transfer, the application deadline is at least three weeks prior to the start of the semester in which they plan to enroll. OCC accepts applications from new international students for the Fall, Spring and Summer semesters. Please visit OCC's International Center website for exact deadlines.

The city of Costa Mesa, California is conveniently located less than an hour south of Los Angeles and minutes from Disneyland. Costa Mesa is well regarded as a hub of the arts, shopping, and proximity to the beach. It is home to Orange County's theater district, including the world-class Orange County Performing Arts Center and Tony Award-winning South Coast Repertory. For shoppers, there is the incomparable South Coast Plaza shopping resort among various other places. Visitors can enjoy a sunny, warm climate year-round, only minutes from the beach. Its central location and safe environment make it an ideal base for exploring all that Southern California has to offer.
Accommodations: Orange Coast College does not offer on-campus accommodations at this time. However, OCC's International Center will provide students with a current apartment listing for the surrounding area, as well as rental listings for students seeking roommates or shared apartments. Each student is fully responsible to interview all potential roommates and make arrangements for rent charges.
A homestay program is another housing option for international students. Through this program, offered through third-party agencies, students are put in contact with interested host families in the area. OCC's goal is to provide guest and host with the opportunity to learn about each other's customs and lifestyles, and benefit from the contact in many different ways. Homestay placement is arranged after the student arrives at OCC.
