Nearly 3,700 students are pursuing degrees in our many innovative and traditional programs. The University of Findlay offers courses in English as an International Language. These courses are designed for international students who wish to learn about the English language and the United States culture. Through this unique program, students earn academic credit toward a degree.

- Unique academic programs, which include nearly 60 undergraduate degrees, eight master's degrees, a doctor of pharmacy and a doctor of physical therapy
The Office of International Admissions and Services serves as the international admissions office for the Intensive English Language Programs, undergraduate programs and graduate programs. The office provides advice regarding immigration matters, adjustments to American culture, the U.S. legal system and community resources.
Intensive English Language Program: The IELP is part of The University of Findlay's Language and Culture Department. Students from all over the world have come to the IELP to study English. The university's IELP is accredited by the American Association of Intensive English Programs (AAIEP).
Students in the IELP earn university credit in English as an International Language which may be applied toward a bachelor's degree or another university major. IELP features:
- Small classes (15 to 20 students)
- Committed, experienced faculty with masters or doctoral degrees
- Instruction in reading, writing, communication and grammar
- Elective courses such as TOEFL Preparation, American Culture and Conversation (Conversation Partners), Listening and Pronunciation, Business Communication and Computers
- Students may study in the IELP to prepare for undergraduate classes, master's degree classes in Business Administration (MBA), Education, Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL), Bilingual Education, and Environmental, Safety and Occupational Health Management

- US$22,400 for Intensive English Language Programs
($26,700 - $4,300 off campus housing savings = $22,400) - US$39,600 for other undergraduate programs
($39,600 - $8,000 International Scholar Award - $4,300 off campus housing savings = $27,300) - US$22,600 for graduate study
